Here's how the flour VFFS packing machine typically works:
1. Film Unwinding: The packaging material, usually a roll of heat-sealable film or laminate, is unwound from a reel and fed into the VFFS machine.
2. Forming: The VFFS machine forms the continuous film into a tubular shape by sealing the longitudinal edges together, creating a vertical tube.
3. Product Dispensing: Flour is accurately and precisely measured and dispensed into each formed pouch through a product filling system. This ensures that each pouch contains the correct amount of flour, maintaining consistency in packaging.
4. Air Removal (Optional): Depending on the type of flour and the desired packaging, the VFFS machine may incorporate a step to remove excess air or create a vacuum within the pouch to improve shelf life and product freshness.
5. Sealing: Once the flour is filled into the pouch, the machine seals the top portion, completing the individual pouches.
6. Cutting: The continuous film with sealed pouches is then cut horizontally, separating the individual pouches from each other.
7. Date and Batch Coding (Optional): If required, the VFFS machine may include an inkjet or laser printer to apply date codes, batch numbers, or other product information on the packaging
