Samfull High-Speed Automatic Snack Feeding & Packaging Line is a complete automatic packaging solution designed for potato chips, puffed snacks, crispy snacks, tortilla chips, nachos, corn snacks, fish-shaped snacks, extruded snacks and other lightweight irregular snack products.

Working Process

The whole snack feeding and packaging line normally works as follows:

  1. Snack products are loaded into the feeding system.

  2. The bucket elevator gently lifts the product to the upper distribution conveyor.

  3. The top distribution conveyor sends product to each multihead weigher.

  4. The material return system helps control extra product and reduce overflow.

  5. Each multihead weigher weighs the product accurately.

  6. The weighed product enters the VFFS packaging machine.

  7. The machine automatically forms bags, fills product, seals, cuts and outputs finished bags.

  8. Nitrogen flushing can be added to protect crispy snack products.

  9. Finished bags are discharged by conveyors.

  10. Metal detector, checkweigher and rotary collection table can be added after packing.

1. Snack Feeding System

The feeding system is designed to lift snack products from the lower feeding area to the upper distribution section.

For fragile products such as potato chips and puffed snacks, smooth feeding is important to reduce product breakage during production.

2. Top Distribution Conveyor

3. Material Return System

For lightweight snack products, unstable feeding may cause product accumulation or uneven distribution. The material return system helps manage extra product and improve feeding balance.

4. Multihead Weigher

Each packing unit can be equipped with an independent multihead weigher. According to product size, target weight, speed requirement and weighing accuracy requirement, Samfull can provide 10-head, 14-head, 16-head, 20-head or 24-head multihead weighers.

For standard snack packaging, 10-head or 14-head weighers are commonly used. For higher-speed production or better weighing combination accuracy, 16-head, 20-head or 24-head weighers can be selected.
