A dairy powder producer from Mongolia ordered one set of 2.0T vertical form fill seal packaging machine for packing 300g milk powder, goat milk powder, and camel milk powder in back seal bags.

The customer needed an automatic packaging machine for dairy powder products, including:

Why Aluminum Laminated Film Was Selected

Milk powder, goat milk powder, and camel milk powder are sensitive to moisture, oxygen, light, and external contamination. If the packaging material has poor barrier performance, the powder may absorb moisture, form lumps, lose aroma, or reduce shelf life.

That is why this project used aluminum laminated film.

Compared with ordinary plastic film, aluminum laminated film provides better protection for dairy powder packaging.

Why Auger Filling Was Used for Milk Powder

For powder products such as milk powder, goat milk powder, and camel milk powder, the dosing system directly affects packing accuracy and production stability.

In this project, an auger filler was selected because it is more suitable for fine powder than a cup dosing system. The auger filler can control powder discharge more steadily and is better adapted to powder products with different bulk densities and flow characteristics.

The auger filling system helps improve:

This machine was configured for a 15mm horizontal seal and 10mm vertical seal, helping improve sealing strength and package reliability. The back seal structure is suitable for aluminum laminated film and provides a clean package appearance for retail dairy powder products.

With the nitrogen flushing system, the machine can complete gas filling before sealing, helping the package achieve better internal protection.

For this reason, the machine was equipped with a dust removal device. This helps keep the filling and sealing area cleaner and improves the overall package quality.

The machine also includes sponge air exhaust. For powder bags, excess air inside the package can affect the final bag shape and carton packing. Sponge exhaust helps remove part of the air before sealing, making the finished bags flatter and easier to handle.

Together with nitrogen flushing, the air exhaust structure helps improve the final bag shape and supports better packaging performance.
